Easy Christmas Kids Recipes

  • Chocolate Truffles:


Ingredients:

1 can condensed milk
3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Directions:
  First melt the butter in slow heat. Add cocoa and stir. Let it cool for sometime and then add milk and vanilla. Chill the mixture for about 3 to 4 hours. Make small balls out of the chocolate goop, roll them in powdered sugar and put them in a plate. Allow it to chill before serving.

Christmas Kids Baking Recipes

 

There are various Christmas kids baking menus which kids can prepare at their leisure time. They serve as great Christmas kids dessert items also. 

  • Peppermint Snowball Cookie Recipe:

Ingredients:
·    2 cups butter
·    1 cup powdered sugar
·    1 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
·    3 ½ cups flour
·    8 oz white chocolate chips
·    1 cup shredded coconut


Directions:
First cream together the butter and the powdered sugar in a large mixing bowl. Add the peppermint extract into it. Slowly add the flour until it is well blended with the mixture of butter and powdered sugar. Refrigerate it for 2-3 hours to form dough. Preheat the oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit. Make balls out of the dough and bake it for 15 -20 minutes in a baking sheet. Allow it to cool separately. In the meantime melt the chocolate chips. Dip the cooled dough cookie into the melted chocolate and then roll it over the shredded coconut. Wait till the chocolate has hardened. 

Fun Christmas Kids Recipes

 

  • Chocolate Popcorn:

Ingredients:

12 cups of popped popcorn
2 cups of salted peanuts
1 package of milk chocolate morsels
1 cup of light corn syrup
Butter and margarine

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 300 degree Fahrenheit. Grease a roasting pan and combine the popcorn and nuts in it. Next, combine the morsels, corn syrup and butter in a medium saucepan. Cook the mixture over medium heat until it is completely blended. Pour the mixture over the popcorn mixture and blend it together. Bake the mixture for about 30 to 40 minutes. Allow it to cool slightly and then store it in an airtight container. 

White Christmas Kids Recipes

 

  • White Christmas:

Ingredients:
2 cups rice bubbles
1/3 cup mixed peel
1/4 cup currants
1/3 cup flaked almonds
125g of butter
250g of white chocolate

Directions: Mix the melted chocolate and butter. In a separate bowl combine all the dry ingredients and pour this over the mixture of melted butter and chocolate. Refrigerate the mixture until it is well set. Slice the hardened mixture into squares and serve.

Christmas Kids Drinks

  • Orange Ginger Punch:


Ingredients:

3oz Sugar
1 pint qt water
1pint qt pineapple juice
1 pint qt orange juice
2 pint qts ginger beer
For Decoration
2 sliced apples, 2 sliced oranges and sliced cucumber.
Directions: Boil the sugar and water together to form syrup. Mix pineapple, orange juice and ginger beer together. Pour the mixture into a bowl and decorate it with 2 sliced apples, 2 sliced oranges and sliced cucumber. Serve with ice.
